The longer you are in a relationship, the more things like Valentines day won't matter as much. No, not because everyday is Valentines day, it's because both of you can't be bothered anymore. I'm sure there are still guys out there who are romantics that do events and special things for their loved ones on normal days and go all out on occasions like this. However, i'm stuck with a weird blockhead who does not care for frivolous things like balloons, gifts, flowers etc. all he wants and needs, is just time spend together. Good or bad, happy or sad, its moments for him and this itself is like a gift to him. I feel ambivalent towards this well because i'm a hopeless romantic (i'm sure all girls are) but you know reading so many love novels and seeing depiction of love on tv, movies and songs, a girl can't help but want a love like that. #justsaying.

However, just like adhesive glue i'm stuck with you and you with me. I love every moment with you no matter good or bad I just love being with you (it'd be better if you could surprise me with a planned date or something once in a while) but just like Robert Fulghum said, "We're all a little weird. And life is a little weird. And when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall into mutually satisfying weirdness—and call it love—true love.”
